Ken Dalenberg

In the years since Ken first "took a spin" at a lathe, he has taken great delight in the idea of taking a small piece of wood - scrap in the eyes of many - and transforming it into a beautiful, functional custom hand-turned keepsake gift that people can enjoy. Since each item is unique, each is truly an expression of the individuals involved - the giver, the recipient, and the craftsman.

By day, Ken types at a keyboard as an IT administrator in the virtual world. The change of gears involved in stepping into the shop and putting his hands to his tools to create a gift that will be embraced and enjoyed is therapeutic and rewarding.
